InsideBio in Copenhagen

Our CTO, Abel Gutiérrez Vilchis, took part in the 47th Annual International Conference of the IEEE EMBS (Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society), held in Copenhagen from July 14–17.

InsideBio in Copenhagen: Science and Vision at the 47th IEEE EMBS

From July 14–17, Copenhagen became the meeting ground for thousands of researchers, engineers, and scientists working at the intersection of biology, medicine, and technology. The 47th IEEE EMBS International Conference gathered global experts to discuss the breakthroughs that will shape the future of health.

In this inspiring setting, our CTO, Abel Gutiérrez Vilchis, presented his work:
“Dynamic Hybrid Modeling of Serial Transfer Culture for Describing Growth of Synthetic Human Gut Microbiota.”

This pioneering research combines dynamic hybrid modeling with synthetic biology to better understand how the human gut microbiota evolves under controlled conditions.

“The human microbiota is a complex and dynamic ecosystem. If we want to truly understand how foods, drugs, or beverages impact our health, we need more precise, predictive, and human-relevant models.” — Abel Gutiérrez Vilchis

For InsideBio, participating in such a forum is not only about showcasing science but also about actively joining a global conversation on how to accelerate health innovation.

“What inspired me the most was the diversity of approaches—from AI algorithms to biomedical devices. We all share the same goal: to improve human life through science and engineering. It’s a reminder that innovation happens in networks, when different disciplines interact and learn from one another.” — Abel Gutiérrez Vilchis

At InsideBio, our vision is clear: to deliver next-gen microbiota testing tools that can directly and ethically measure how foods, drugs, and beverages affect human health.

This moment in Copenhagen marks another milestone in our journey to connect biotechnology, advanced modeling, and scientific innovation with real-world human impact.
